Robert Half Finance Manager in Seattle, Washington

Description

Robert Half is working with a highly respected client in the public sector who is currently seeking a talented Financial Consultant to support them in their operations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in GAAP-basis financial statement preparation and preferably, an active CPA accreditation. As a Financial Consultant, you will be guiding the client through the process of preparing and auditing their financial statements. You will work collaboratively with various teams and executives to advise on best financial practices under GAAP, ensuring the company’s compliance. This role plays a crucial part in the company’s fiscal management and financial transparency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of GAAP-basis financial statements.

  • Providing audit defense for the financial statements.

  • Working closely with internal teams to interpret financial information and data.

  • Advising management on necessary changes and actions concerning financial statements.

  • Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.

Work Schedule:

This position will require an on-site presence in downtown Seattle for 2-3 days per week. However, the exact work hours and days will be flexible to suit the demands of the role and the chosen candidate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

  • Active CPA accreditation preferred.

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a focus on GAAP-basis financial statement preparation.

  • Excellent understanding of financial laws and procedures.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
