Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking candidates for the following (multiple positions available) in Seattle, WA: Lead an analytics team of finance and business intelligence professionals that work closely with various finance, accounting and product management teams and present results of business analysis and recommendations to senior management for optimal decision making.Drive process improvements, automation of complex data analyses, scalability of financial models, and development of reporting tools that provide business insights .and.amp; opportunities for the device organization.Lead, prioritize and coordinate team projects and deliverables and communicate team scope, goals and responsibilities to internal cross-functional teams.Manage monthly team business reviews, highlighting organizational impact and cost/time savings.Define reporting methodologies and develop automated financial models, on-going analytics tools, ad hoc analyses, and operational/business metrics using a broad range of Finance and Business Intelligence tools and technologies, including SQL, Tableau, QuickSight, ETL and COGNOS to achieve business goals.Manage and develop team of financial analysts, business intelligence engineers and data engineers.Work on monthly close process with accounting and FP.and.amp;A teams to ensure the validity of the financials and report results to senior management.Help build self-service reporting and analytics platforms at a global scale to enable the Device Finance organization leaders and teams create accountability and mechanisms for financial and operational planning.Conduct financial, statistical and business analyses and forecasts for promotion events and support PR claim data validations.Mine data from database tables (Redshift, MySQL, and Data Warehouse), manage ETL processes and develop creative BI solutions to improve data delivery, optimize reporting performance and provide data usage guidance.Pro-actively assess process improvement opportunities, explore innovation and simplification of both finance and operational processes, establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale data analyses, model development, model validation, and model implementation using SQL, ETL, and AWS technologies.Track down and identify sources of data, determine the validity of the data, and analyze the variance in the data between various systems and reports.Qualified applicants should submit a CV by mail only referencing job code 20273.5964.4 to: Amazon, PO Box 81226, Seattle, Washington 98108.
