Job summaryFinance manager sought for end-to-end P&L ownership of our video purchase and rental business, covering Latin America, Canada and Australia.The business is critical in offering the widest range of selection to our customers, both as a supplement for existing Prime members to ensure we serve the widest possible needs, and also an on-ramp for future Prime subscribers. This opportunity is ideal for a finance professional who is passionate about video entertainment and looking for a challenge in a high growth, new business environment where the breath of country oversight offers both complexity and opportunity to drive insight. The right individual will have experience working cross-functionally and the ability to influence business leaders through effective verbal and written communication and logical reasoning.Key job responsibilities* Business case analysis of new programs, deals, and acquisition proposals* Own P&L management across numerous countries with unique challenges* Impact and influence at a senior level to ensure business controllership while adding measurable value* Support launches as the business expansions to new countries* Lead planning, forecasting and reporting Profit/Loss for one of Amazon's newest and fastest growing businesses* Decision support analysis of underlying data to support negotiating commercial terms of contractual/vendor relationships* Apply general business and financial analysis skills to ensure the success of the digital strategy* Lead ad hoc financial analyses and business development initiatives. Lead and participate as the key finance stakeholder in cross functional teams8+ years of finance experience or a related analytical field.BA/BS Degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Engineering or similar discipline with analytical bias.Masters in quantitative field Demonstrated financial and/or analytical experience including familiarity with concepts of forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and/or data interpretation and analysis. Advanced analytical skills and an ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment; work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations. Ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, ever-growing and often ambiguous environment; effective multi-tasking skills are vital.
