Amazon Finance Manager, Amazon Business Finance in Seattle, Washington
Description
Amazon Business (AB) seeks a Finance Manager to lead FP&A for its US Commercial, Public and Strategic (CPS) business segment. This is a strategic role responsible for driving rigor and cadence of key P&L mechanisms for the fast growing US AB (B2B) Large Customer Business Segment (CPS). This role starts as an IC responsible for driving reporting and insights across areas of P&L as part of month end close, and delivering insightful leadership reporting. This role requires the candidate to have a high degree of learn and be curious, deep dive in order to execute ad-hoc analysis and provide thoughtful business insights. In addition, this role will drive the direction for Long Range Planning Mechanisms, OP1/OP2/3YF across the CPS org.
Key job responsibilities
Serve as the FP&A lead for the US CPS business segment, driving central insights and controllership of Topline and P&L
Support Financial Planning and Reporting processes including: Topline & P&L quarterly planning, Monthly Financial reviews with CPS VP, and Quarterly Business Reviews with AB leadership
Engage with partner teams across AB WW FP&A, AB Supplier Experience (Pricing, Selection, Delivery Experience) and Go-To-Market Sales Operations teams to enable understanding and influence on AB wide initiatives
Influence business decisions through effective verbal and written communication with senior leaders, data driven analysis and modeling, and presentation of options and alternatives using a broad range of tools including Excel, SQL, and Cognos
Partner with global CPS finance teams across EU, JP and CA

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
Preferred Qualifications
MBA, or CPA
Experience in a leadership position managing finance, accounting and operational processes

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
