About The Role:
As a CBRE Finance Analyst, you will provide support for CBRE Affordable Housing investment banking engagements. You will assist in the preparation and creation of financial models used to evaluate affordable housing properties and businesses.
This job is part of the Financial Strategy and Operations job function. They are responsible for maintaining accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls.
What You'll Do:
Research, coordinate diligence information, and prepare Excel-based models for review.
Assist in initializing and maintaining financial models, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data and assumptions. Types of analyses include property cash flow, market/submarket trends, and company valuation.
Extract and analyze operating information from sources including financial statements, debt documents, and regulatory agreements. Use data to craft insights, strategies, or recommendations to drive business decisions.
Manage and coordinate due diligence activities, including communication with clients and collection of relevant information.
Produce ad-hoc analyses and reports as needed to support the preparation of investment memoranda and other deal-related materials.
Work closely with senior team members to deliver high-quality financial analysis and insights to clients and investors.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the deal team objectives
Use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
Impact the quality of own work.
Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.

Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 2 years of related experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Multifamily real estate experience preferred.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with other Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Requires strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to learn and apply financial modeling concepts.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret various types of business documents.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and maintain high attention to detail in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Finance Analyst position is $80,000.00 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $100,000.00 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
