Responsibilities

Job Summary

- This position provides specialized repair (radiology, nuclear medicine) and maintenance services to diagnostic imaging and/or lab equipment, and biomedical equipment.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

  • Associates degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering or related field, equivalent military education, graduate of technical program, or equivalent training validated through training certificates, or equivalent experience.

  • A minimum of seven years’ experience servicing medical imaging equipment such as General X-Ray (Rad, including but not limited to Rad Rooms, Portables and C-Arms) Must have the ability to repair and maintain a wide variety of imaging equipment.

LICENSURE & CERTIFICATION

  • CRES preferred

-Valid Driver's License & reliable transportation required.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Language Ability: Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

  • Math Ability: Basic: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

  • Reasoning Ability: Basic: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in the standardized situations.

  • Computer Skills: must be familiar with MS Office Suite and internet based applications.

  • Reliable transportation required.

Pay Range

$40.58 - $58.84 /hour
