Field Project Manager - Life Sciences Automation - (REMOTE)

We are currently seeking a Field Project Manager - Life Sciences Automation - (REMOTE) who will be responsible for supporting the life science automation sales team in the sales process to achieve Operations Plan. The role involves working with customers in the field, analyzing their workflows and requirements, and translating these into a clear set of requests. These requests are used to design a solution using the entire product range from Biomek and Echo liquid handlers to Robotic Systems. The position owner should be capable of demonstrating the solutions by means of software simulations, system drawings, pricing justification, and customer presentations to support the sales specialist. The position owner will also act as a key liaison between the customer, Sales Specialist and Access Solutions Group as part of the solution design.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Support the sales team in the sales of integrated and robotic automation systems.

  • Analyze customer laboratory processes, workflows, and requirements.

  • In conjunction with the Sales Specialist, develop custom fitted Life Science Automation solutions with a focus on complex projects.

  • Present complex solutions to customers at sales meetings including software demonstrations.

  • Support seamless transition of won projects to successful implementation.

The required qualifications for the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; prefer an advanced degree in Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or similar subject area.

  • Minimum of 3 years laboratory automation system sales experience OR applications support experience.

  • Current or recent experience in life science laboratory processes, ideally in automation control software.

  • Exceptional customer solutioning experience and ability to work as a team and build relationships with an understanding of “customized solution” sales processes.

  • Ability to work remotely and travel up to 40 %. Must be based in the greater California area and /or ability to relocate.

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $120,000.00 USD annual. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
