We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Learning and Development team as a Field Learning and Development Manager. As a Field Learning and Development Manager you will create plans, coordinate, and deliver training across multiple modalities to deliver high-quality learning experiences that support our learning community of associates and managers. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong business decision-making skills, strategic planning capabilities, and the ability to effectively manage ambiguity in the moment. In addition, you should be comfortable working across multiple stakeholder groups, building collaborative relationships, coordinating with stakeholders, and working with operational teams to engage needed resources and drive innovative learning solutions. This role requires the ability to influence without organizational authority; effective presentation, coaching, and persuasion skills; and a strong customer obsession. You will be able to innovate, move quickly, and not be constrained by how things have been done before. More specifically, the Field Learning and Development Manager will: Be an active and productive liaison/partner with the operations and business teams consistently seeking to make a positive impact on key business safety, quality, productivity, and customer experience metrics. Consult on learning strategies and effectiveness, audit on-site training execution, provide feedback to on-site trainers and leadership, and gather feedback from the field to improve learning and development programs. Implement and track training programs for associates, managers, trainers and others and provide reporting to leadership on training completions. Plan and coordinate ongoing training classes/workshops, facilitate train the trainer sessions for leads and trainers, and work with leadership to develop and facilitate training plans. Develop and implement a training plan and/or work with operations to support change management and/or introduce updated or improved programs. Work with key stakeholders to schedule opportunities to communicate policies and procedures to managers, trainers, and new employees as needed.
