Employment Type: Full-time Hybrid Schedule: 3 days In-office / 2 Remote Salary: $149,760- $183,040 Level: Senior P2S has an excellent opportunity for a talented Market Leader to support our federal market in our Seattle, WA office. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of project management experience. General Responsibilities The Federal Market Leader will be responsible for managing federal projects and growing the federal market in Washington, California, and the West Coast. The primary agencies are NAVFAC and USACE; other agencies include GSA, VA, USCG, USAF, and USDA. The person must be capable of managing internal and external multidiscipline teams. The Federal Market Leader must be responsive, dependable, and able to routinely coordinate with the Project Managers, Group Leaders, Southwest Federal Market Leader, and Vice Presidents. The Federal Market Leader must be able to balance project management with business development. The Federal Market Leader must excel at client interaction as they will be the main point of contact for federal work on the West Coast. Business Development Represent the firm to the public and enhance the firm's image through personal leadership, membership in community and professional organizations, and participation in community service. Function as one of the firm's Business Development representatives through coordination with the Director of Business Development, and thereby: Prepare proposals independently for large-sized projects Assist in market research Assist in lead gathering and documentation within Salesforce and GovWin During the selling process, participate in the selection of the Project Manager and team members and in strategy planning, assist in the formulation of proposal content and development of presentation material for interviews, and participate in the presentation of selected interviews Meeting sales targets Development of relationships with new clients and maintain relationships with existing clients Conduct follow-up activities with clients to measure client satisfaction Project Management Demonstrate experience managing large projects involving other senior engineers and sub-consultants. Develop large and complex reports Professional Development Maintain and expand management and professional capabilities through involvement in the field, search of available documentation, membership and participation in related professional organizations, pursuance of appropriate continuing education opportunities, and professional writing and speaking. Position Requirements 10 years minimum of project management experience required, demonstrated capacity to manage major clients, long-term projects, and personnel.
