We are seeking a motivated, collaborative professional to join our team with an extraordinary customer service focus. You will have the ability to interact with Apple business functional customers at all levels in your day to day work. The ideal individual is well organized, has strong attention to detail, and has experience in customer service. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and holds themselves to the highest standards. We require the ability to complete tasks/projects on time and to work independently with minimum supervision. Good written and verbal communication skills are both requirements for this role. A self-starter with excellent attention to detail, technical skills and an ambitious spirit tied in with diligence, integrity, and exceptional customer focus are key traits we are looking for.

Description

In this mixed role, part of the day will be filled with receptionist tasks and workflows, greeting all guests, employees and visitors. Responsibilities include: - Greet all incoming guests, visitors, and clients. Supervise and guide visitor access and maintain general security awareness - Order general office supplies, snacks, beverages, and other miscellaneous items for the building’s operation - Collect and maintain job related data and identify trends for improvement and provide necessary reports to supervisor - Build and support cross-functional relationships between departments - Serve as central location for information for the building - Ensure reception area is well-kept and maintained - Submit service requests for repairs or maintenance Additionally, the facilities assistant is responsible for providing support to the Facilities Services team, including vendor support and escort, maintaining supplier records, stocking, inventory and building audits. Responsibilities in this workflow will also include: - Assist in maintaining daily operations of facility services - Ensure all break room, amenity, and convenience areas are well kept, maintained and fully stocked each day - Work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature - Support facilities staff by performing minor cleanup duties - Build and support cross-functional relationships between departments, internal partners and external vendors - Communicate effectively via phone, email, and other written correspondence - Investigate and troubleshoot service requests in order to provide necessary information to vendors and service providers - Other tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of related experience

  • Ability to balance multiple tasks with excellent interpersonal skills required

  • Strong customer service and problem solving capabilities

  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and other office applications

  • Technologically skilled in working with iOS and macOS based applications

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $24.00 and $31.25/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
