Orcas Business Park Facilities Maintenance Technician in Seattle, Washington
Orcas Business Park is a family-owned and operated business park. We manage seven buildings (office, retail & warehouse) in Georgetown Seattle. We are looking for a new Facilities Maintenance Technician to help us out with all the tenant improvements and property maintenance. The Interior jobs needed will include: - Carpentry; rough and finish. - Hanging drywall, taping and mudding. - Installation of outlets, light switches and lighting, minor electrical. - Working on bathroom sinks and toilets and kitchen plumbing, minor plumbing. - Installation and maintenance of kitchen cabinetry - Flooring work, ceiling work & HVAC ducting work. - Painting of tenant spaces and common areas - When a space is vacated, it needs to get prepared for the new tenant to move in. The Exterior work will include: - Landscape grounds maintenance - Installation and removal of plants, bushes, and trees - Chainsaw downed branches or trees - Repair and maintenance of sprinkler irrigation systems - Repair of asphalt parking lots - Roof patching and maintenance - Exterior building repair and maintenance - Exterior painting to wood and concrete buildings. You need to be organized, memorize inventory, job contractor scheduling and purchasing of supplies & tools. You need to be able to pick up and carry heavy items (75 lbs) such as wood, drywall, doors and furniture. Valid drivers license required.
