This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. We are in search of a Facilities Coordinator II who will join our team of facility coordinators, equipment engineers, technicians, and construction specialists. This team is chartered with maintaining the overall facility, planning, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, unplanned servicing of facility systems and manufacturing equipment. As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, and engineers you willshare responsibilities for maintaining all facilities and equipment, including major systems (hvac, hvac controls, sprinkler and fire detection, security, electrical, communication, plumbing) and other major equipment. This team is chartered with planning, performing preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance, that includes unplanned servicing of facility systems and manufacturing equipment. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight. Special Mentions: Relocation provided Travel expected up to 0-10 % of the time Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Perform maintenance and repairs of facilities equipment in-house or serve as the focal point for contracted efforts, as necessary. Act as the general contractor on major minor projects, performing functions such as soliciting and evaluating bids, reviewing work efforts, and managing to schedule. Serve as interface with outside system suppliers, including security, fire suppression, HVAC, elevators, cranes, compressors, backflows, mobile equipment, fleet vehicles, sow etc. Organize shop and facility supplies so that they are easily accessible.(5s) Coordinate efforts with shop personnel and others, as needed. Assist with the definition and expansion of Blue Origin facilities as necessary. Coordinate with project leads on mobilization and demobilization of equipment as needed. Coordinate with outside suppliers for the rental or purchase of equipment. Provide general technical and mechanical support. Source, order, and confirm receipt of project materials. Minimum Qualifications: This position requires at least 5- 7 years of relevant practical experience in industrial facilities management. Working knowledge of CMMS systems and daily workflow use. (Maximo) Applicants should have knowledge of industrial facility infrastructure and industrial safety. Applicants must be strong subcontractor managers. This position requires technical and manufacturing skills, but also a creative and flexible attitude. Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, capable of lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds unassisted for an extended period. Knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, project and power point programs. Experience with Maximo a plus. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Compensation range for on site WA applicants is $27.72---$38.8
