UW Medical Center - Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Care Unit ICU in a per diem/intermittent position. WORK SCHEDULE

• Variable Schedule a mix of Day Shifts and Night Shifts DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION 5SE/CCU ICU: 21-bed cardiac ICU caring for patients with advanced heart failure, cardiogenic shock, complex PCI's, STEMI's and other critical post-cath lab patients, as well as pre- and post-heart transplant patients. Patients may have Impella and Balloon Pump devices and receive Hemodialysis. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a CCU ICU RN, you will:

• Provide ICU patient care for various cardiac needs

• Triage patient care priorities in collaboration with the nursing supervisor

• Follow evidence-based nursing practices

• Monitor and administer medications and IVs REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 years of current ICU nursing experience with cardiac care

• Active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State
