The Boeing Company Experienced Fleet Care Engineer in Seattle, Washington
This position will provide engineering services related to aircraft systems, structures, and propulsion as part of Boeing Global Fleet Care (formally known as GoldCare) Engineering Services.
The primary duties of this role include:
Serve as the technical point of contact within Fleet Care Engineering for these areas. This includes collaborating with disciplines inside and outside of Fleet Care to analyze, propose solutions and execute solutions to improve the reliability and maintainability of Fleet Care managed aircraft.
Timely support of the global operation to assist in resolving any issues that occur during execution of modifications on the aircraft.
Maintain a strong relationship with other Boeing organizations.

Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Minimum of 3 years of experience with Boeing aircraft systems, structures, or propulsion is required.
Experience working in a customer-facing engineering role, or at an airline engineering department.
Broad exposure to aircraft design and operations.
Boeing 737 and/or 787 experience.
Experience with airline and maintenance operations including service bulletins, service letters, airworthiness directives, and other forms of retrofit is desired.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders and leadership.
