Position Category: Administrative Support Job DescriptionAmazon is seeking a self-directed, motivated, highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant in supporting a VP and Directors in Core Consumables. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, and able to work with minimal oversight and guidance. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Work in partnership with senior leaders, functional business partners and other EAs to provide seamless support to the organization. Proactively manage executive calendars with attention to accuracy, detail and allocation of time to promote productivity and recognize the need to reprioritize as appropriate. Understand business priorities and identify process improvements to create efficiency and scale for the leadership team. Organize and manage meetings, off-sites and team-based social events. Support annual operational planning process, business planning and performance review cycles. Own and manage space planning for the team. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of experience assisting multiple Executives in a corporate environment (complex calendar management, meeting coordination, travel coordination, event planning, etc.) 2+ years of Project Management/Project Coordination Experience (goal & project tracking, reporting, space planning, budgeting, process improvement, etc). 3+ years or Advanced use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, and Word) 5+ years of experience working in a fast paced, large, and/or complex work environment BA/BS Degree, or a HS Diploma and additional 4yrs of experience in above qualifications Preferred Qualifications Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments while maintaining commitment to deadlines. Professional polish and ability to demonstrate grace and composure under pressure. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Superior planning, time management and organizational skills. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Work, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Sets a high bar for self and team; can provide key examples of improving efficiency or daily productivity of direct manager and / or team. Desire and aptitude for learning new concepts quickly. Maintains high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and dealing with professionals both inside and outside of the company. Pivots quickly and is able to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events which require timely response or turnaround. Able to handle administrative details independently and with an eye for accuracy, while keeping team members informed as necessary.
