Amazon is seeking a highly motivated and customer obsessed individual for the role as Executive Assistant to support three US Finance Operations Directors.

The position will serve as the single point of contact for all administrative organization. The Executive Assistant is responsible for arranging meetings, scheduling travel, submitting expenses, organizing events, monitoring meeting actions and providing direct support to the Directors. This role is also responsible for managing multiple tasks and action items (documentation, follow up and preparation) for the Directors, ensuring appropriate and timely action on deliverables. The position requires the capacity to work successfully in a remote team environment, build effective working relationships inside and outside of the team, while keeping abreast of general business objectives, policies, standards, services, facilities, procedures and related information in order to maintain a comprehensive awareness of the organization.

Key job responsibilities

You will be a detail oriented, organized planner with demonstrated ability to respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining flexibility. You will possess the ability to complete high volumes of tasks with minimal guidance or supervision and deadline sensitivity. As such, you must be skilled at anticipating problems, creating contingency plans, managing multiple priorities, problem solving and organizing logistics. Key to the position is the ability to keep the Directors organized, prioritized and on time while serving as a "go to" for all areas and departments which dovetail with the departments.

You will support the Directors in maintaining excellent rapport with internal service providers, cross-functionally with other business groups and departments, employing insightful and knowledgeable communications to foster a cooperative and communicative atmosphere.

About the team

This role supports 3 Directors across different parts of the Finance Operations organization. Each Director leads diverse teams across multiple countries in the US, Europe, Middle East, India and Latin America.

This position is office-based, with the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week in line with Amazon’s current flexible work guidance. Amazon encourages open communication about unique needs for flexible arrangements.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of senior level leadership support, or 1+ years of Amazon experience

  • High school or equivalent diploma

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

  • Experience with executive level calendar management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company

  • Experience managing multiple calendars

  • Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
