Job summaryAmazon Business and Corporate Development has an exciting opportunity for an Executive Assistant looking to jump into the fast-paced world of Biz Dev. This role will support several directors across a Vice President's org, providing unique exposure to some of Amazon's most innovative and interesting partnership engagements. A proven track record of effective time management, taking initiative, working independently, delivering exceptional results, and exceeding expectations is important. Candidates should thrive under pressure, have an interest in strategic business, and-most importantly-possess a good sense of humor (our team prides itself on its fun culture!).This role requires attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, efficient organizational skills, and the ability to switch gears at a moment's notice. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is key. The candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the total picture.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:* Effectively and proactively supporting across the Vice President's org* Complex calendar management* Expense reimbursement* Coordinate global schedules, travel arrangements, and seamless meeting logistics such as video conferencing and conference calls for internal and external meetings.* Organize, prioritize and appropriately handle time-sensitive, confidential information and ensure the action required is addressed in a timely manner.* Assist with event coordination (including team meetings and morale events)* Catering and supply ordersExperience with executive level calendar managementExperience with domestic and/or international travel coordination2+ years of professional experienceExperience with Microsoft Office Products* Experience with executive level calendar management* Experience with domestic and/or international travel coordination* Experience planning large-scale company events (international a big plus!)* 2+ years of professional experience* Experience with Microsoft Office Products* Impeccable attention to detail* Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments while maintaining commitment to deadlines* Strong organizational and problem solving skills with a team orientated philosophy* Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of groups such as senior management, peers and outside companies* High level of integrity and discretion* Ability to maintain composure and switch tasks efficiently in a rapidly changing environment* Highly motivated, organized individual who is able to work effectively with minimal supervision* Ability to quickly learn organizational structure and the objectives of the team* Ability to build a strong internal network* Must demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for customers and Amazon's vision* Sense of humor and ability to work while having fun in an extremely ambiguous environment* 3+ years' experience assisting at the executive level in a fast-paced environment* Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)* Bachelor's degree* Demonstrated creative problem solving skills* Desire and aptitude for learning new concepts on the job* Salesforce proficiency*Team Culture*Here at Amazon, we embrace our differences.
