We are seeking an experienced Events Manager to lead and manage high-profile executive events and major industry engagements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of orchestrating large-scale as well as small-scale events for senior leadership, developing impactful agendas, and enhancing attendee experiences. This role requires expertise in program management, event logistics, content curation, and partner engagement, focusing on driving meaningful business outcomes.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage high-profile global senior leadership events, overseeing all aspects including scheduling, content organization, logistics, accommodation, and attendee gifts.
  • Elevate attendee engagement through comprehensive documentation and tailored engagement approaches.
  • Direct the management and execution of the Partner Programs at F5's customer and partner events, ensuring a seamless experience for sometimes over 250 partners.
  • Events that potentially will be supported by this team-member will include major industry events such as , RSA and Red Hat Summit.
  • Demonstrate expertise in exhibit setup, lead generation strategies, and overall event management to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to orchestrate the logistics of planning an event.
  • Develop, manage, and track event budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial goals.
  • Identify, negotiate with, and manage vendors for venues, catering, AV services, and other event-related suppliers.
  • Conduct post-event debriefs, gather feedback from attendees and stakeholders, and implement improvements for future events.
  • Work closely with marketing and communication teams to ensure cohesive messaging and promotion of events across multiple channels.
  • Lead a team of event coordinators, providing guidance, mentorship, and ensuring alignment with the overall event strategy.

     

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in event management, with a focus on large-scale, high-profile events.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership, partners, and vendors.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.Strong attention to detail and a creative, out-of-the-box approach to problem solving.Proficiency in event management software and tools.
  • Experience working within the technology sector or with tech events with an understanding of Cloud Computing, AI, Security and Networking.
