This role reports into the Operations Manager for Global Teams and is a part of the Office Operations community at Slalom.Job Title: Events Manager - Global OperationsWho we are:* We like to have fun* We brainstorm* We support each other* We have a purpose* We smile A LOTWho you are:* You have passion for people* You are collaborative and driven to do what is right* You are not afraid to be bring your authentic self to work* You embrace a continuous learner mentality with a commitment to honest introspectionWhat You'll Do:* Drive and execute impactful internal experiences and events for the departments within Slalom's Global Services, including recurring team meetings and events, team celebrations, trainings, etc.* End-to-end event preparation, production, and management: theme ideation & execution; venue/vendor sourcing, selection, and coordination; venue/vendor negotiations; budget management; etc. For department level events, will manage all work streams. For Global Teams division level events, will work with a larger team and be responsible for some, but not all, work streams.* Create inclusive, well-executed virtual experiences through virtual platforms (eg - Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.); produce and/or perform administrative duties during virtual meetings and events* Establish and maintain excellent rapport with Global Services' executives and leaders* Administer the recognition technology solution for Global Teams' employees* Collaborate and support the planning and execution of Global Teams' division wide experiences and events, including quarterly meetings, holiday parties, retreats, etc.* Support the birthday and anniversary recognition of Global Teams employees* Draft and build detail-oriented collateral (eg - PowerPoint decks, one-pagers, nametags, etc.) for Global Teams meetings and events* Represent the Slalom culture in a positive light, always working with a confident customer service attitude* Build brand recognition for the Office Operations Team throughout the Slalom Global Teams divisionWhat we'd like from you:* Passion and experience creating and executing memorable, detail-oriented, and inclusive employee virtual and in-person experiences (with no task viewed as "too small")* Ability to manage multiple, independent and collaborative projects simultaneously, while remaining flexible and consistently meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment* Willingness to challenge process and efficiency respectfully, while offering recoTo view the full job description, click here
