Robert Half is partnering with a law firm in Seattle that is looking to hire an Estate Planning/Probate Paralegal. This role involves preparing and maintaining legal documents, handling probate proceedings, and providing comprehensive client services. The successful candidate will play a critical role in our team, ensuring the efficient and timely processing of probate cases.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze will and trust provisions

• Draft petitions to open probate and prepare supporting documents

• Maintain a calendar system for tracking important case deadlines

• Notify heirs, devisees, and creditors of probate proceedings

• Review decedent’s records and assist in collecting other death benefits

• Determine the title of assets and obtain federal tax ID numbers

• Evaluate assets and draft Inventory

• Maintain financial records of estate and prepare and file estate taxes

• Calculate and diary dates for required filings and notifications

• Draft legal documents, including complaints/petitions, contracts, orders, affidavits, and releases
