Does that sound like you? The Opportunity with McKinstry We are adding an Environmental Safety and Health Operational and Strategy Director to McKinstry's Safety team in Seattle, WA. You will be responsible for collaborating with the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) leadership to develop and implement enterprise strategies, including the creation and enhancement of enterprise EHS systems and programs to support consistent disciplined execution. This role involves designing EHS workflows, overseeing the annual standardization and improvement cycle, and engaging with company leadership and the EHS team to ensure alignment, foster understanding, build consensus, and manage change effectively. Other responsibilities include: Conduct analysis of gaps, processes, workflows, leading indicators and improve EHS system and field performance. Collaborate with leaders of all levels to gain alignment and identify improvements to reduce the probability of incidents protecting people and the environment. Work with EHS leadership and the EHS function to develop and implement EHS systems including medical case management in collaboration with legal and HR. Manage EHS data analysis and training manager to maintain alignment for proactive leading indicators and training to support the EHS management system. Maintain EHS management systems supporting regulatory compliance. Propose and develop innovative solutions. Directly manage EHS team members through full employee experience (lead, coach, connect) Performs other duties as assigned. What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required Ten (10) years relevant industry experience, plus a minimum of three (3) years of experience in optimization/efficiency/standards/process development Five (5) years' experience in managing and leading people.
