The Team And Job Summary We are seeking an entry level Environmental Consultant to join our Pacific Northwest environmental consulting team. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set to join the team in the Seattle Washington area. The current position is full-time remote and primarily fieldwork related. Responsibilities will extend beyond the field including data management and interpretation, report preparation, permitting, and other consulting related tasks. As growth allows, selected applicants will have the opportunity to learn project management and other aspects of full range environmental consulting. The ideal person for this role will be a flexible and strategic thinker able to take on a variety of tasks. Working in this position, the employee will have the opportunity to learn and implement Washington's environmental regulatory programs related to environmental cleanups. Job Responsibilities * Carrying out various environmental site assessment tasks * Conducting technical remedial investigation sampling techniques * Working outdoors in all weather conditions and sometimes in remote field locations * Coordinating with vendors, analytical laboratories, and perform subcontractor oversight. * Assessing environmental cleanup approaches through the collection of Site data, management of the data and the evaluation of remedial technologies * Performing due diligence tasks in the assessment of environmental liabilities * Evaluating the environmental impact of industrial, commercial and residential activities for a diverse array of clientele * Evaluating and recommending remedial solutions to meet Washington State regulatory requirements and client objectives * Preparing technical reports including Phase I and Phase II environmental Site Assessments, Remedial Investigation reports/Feasibility Studies and Cleanup Action plans and reports Preferred Qualifications * B.S. or M.S. in geology, engineering, environmental science, or other similarly related field. * 0 to 3+ years of relevant work experience. * While none required, preferred experience with soil, groundwater, soil gas, indoor air, surface water, and sediment sampling techniques. * Implementation of remediation technologies and operations and maintenance tasks. * Proficient technical skills using Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams), * Geographical Information System (GIS) software experience a plus, * Motivated self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Flexible to work outside of normal business hours, as required. * Professional licenses are desirable (e.g., Engineer or Geologist In-Training or Underground Storage Tank Site Assess To view the full job description,
