Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience preferred

• Program management in big data engineering

• Familiarity with data analytics and big data technologies is preferred

• Leadership and gravitas to drive discussions with analytics stakeholders

• Ability to deliver high-quality results while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

• Operational and process focused; meticulous, thorough approach

• Understanding of agile project management methodologies

• Strong facilitation skills to drive a complex, cross-functional, and comprehensive project plan independently

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, including presentation skills to all levels of an organization

• Proficiency and willingness to learn along with proactive attitude and energy

Description

Specifically, we project manage the data engineering track for creating and enhancing data pipelines that support the Analytics Engineering space for the Wallet, Payments, and Commerce line of business. We track multiple concurrent projects including scope, requirements, timelines, roadmaps, project plans, resource allocation, customer management, communications, engineering sprint coordination, and risk assessments -- both within the team and with multiple project partners. We also collaborate with Engineering, Analytics, Production Support, QA, Information Security, Privacy, and other organizations to build and manage products to support Apple Services Engineering data pipelines.

Education & Experience

BS or BA or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business is preferred Exposure to large-scale data engineering and analytics with intuition for business & data comprehension required

• At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $152,400.00 and $229,400.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
