F5, Inc. seeks Engineer I in Seattle, WA: Job Duties: Collaborate with technical leads to design, code, and test robust, scalable, loosely coupled components that integrate into customer's public and private cloud infrastructure as well as NGINX's own SaaS offerings. Consistently apply good software design, implementation, and test principles. Timely deliver features and bug-fixes with high quality, using modern abstractions and frameworks. Demonstrate knowledge of cloud technologies (both public and private, such as AWS, Azure, or VMware vSphere). Demonstrate knowledge of container and orchestration systems such as Docker, Kubernetes. Demonstrate knowledge of network and web technologies. Utilize experience in languages such as Go, Python, JavaScript, or C++. Telecommuting is an option. Minimum Requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field. Special Skill Requirements: (1) Docker; (2) Cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure; (3) Kubernetes; (4) Multi-threaded and concurrent/asynchronous development; (5) JavaScript/TypeScript; (6) SQL; (7) AI/ML/Deep Learning; (8) Low latency, high throughput, and high availability systems (9) bash; (10) Git; (11) RESTful API; (12) Apache Kafka; (13) React.js; (14) Go or C++; (15) Cloud computing infrastructure; and (16) distributed systems. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Salary: $137,259.00 - $163,176.00 per annum.
