Amazon Corporate LLC Energy Ops Business Analyst, EPO in Seattle, Washington

The Amazon Energy Procurement Operations (EPO) team manages supply contracts post execution, provides controllership and governance of energy spend, tracks environmental attributes and ensures our energy supply portfolio is compliant with external regulations, contract obligations as well as internal policies. You will be a part of the team responsible for managing the world\'s largest portfolio of corporate renewable contracts. We are looking for an individual to execute and enhance our programs by working collaboratively with stakeholders across Amazon, including onboarding new renewable projects, conducting power settlements activities, analyzing and reporting performance, and managing contract obligations for our global portfolio. The right candidate can manage multiple projects simultaneously, has an analytical skill set, experience with business processes, and experience defining and reporting metrics in BI tools. Key job responsibilities * Support overseeing energy agreements and renewable power purchase agreements globally. * Support the management of the on-boarding process for new contracts across different geographies with a large number of counterparties and internal stakeholders. Track progress and drive for successful completion. * Support power settlements activities, including validation of power invoices, reconciliations, issue resolution and overall transaction controllership. * Support the management of the contractual obligations with counterparties. * Report and analyze portfolio performance in collaboration with other teams, identifying impacts to our business units and our customers. * Support environmental attributes tracking and retirement across the portfolio. * Plan and drive execution of initiatives to improve our energy operations. Continuously seek to invent and simplify in order to achieve further scale effect for Amazon\'s management of its energy portfolio. * Work collaboratively with other AWS and Amazon teams to support the management of the energy programs. Bachelor\'s degree 3-5 years of experience in similar roles Experience managing building reports, metrics, and reporting mechanisms Experience working in utility/energy industry - compliance, regulatory, asset/contract management, market operations or similar Experience in managing transactions - supplier management, contract management, or managing commercial relationships with vendors or customers Prior experience leveraging technology to drive process improvements in manual processes Experience planning, schedul
