Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a talented Enablement Specialist to develop and execute partner and internal enablement initiatives. As a Sr. Enablement Specialist, you will have the exciting opportunity to develop world class initiatives, mechanisms, and content designed to scale the impact of our team throughout AWS and our Partner community.

You will act as the single-threaded-owner for Industry-focused training and enablement initiatives, and will be responsible for working with cross-functional stakeholders to identify gaps in capability, and develop and land enablement programs in alignment with our strategic priorities.

This role will ensure individuals in technical and sales roles are equipped with the content, training, and knowledge necessary to navigate customer conversations and opportunities at all stages of the sales cycle.

The ideal candidate will have organization and communication skills, a deep understanding of the AWS business, to and experience working with a team of cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on involvement to usher initiatives to execution.

Key job responsibilities

Perform detailed business needs assessments in coordination with the Industry & Solutions Center of Excellence, Industry-aligned internal specialists, Specialty Sales and Service Teams, internal enablement teams to uncover partner capability gaps and accelerate learning.

Drive creation, alignment, and customization of partner enablement content and mechanisms with key stakeholders including Sales and Service teams, Product Marketing, Partner Marketing, and Partner Management.

Analyze and evaluate training programs to ensure content, initiatives, and timelines are up to date.

Build and deploy enablement and educational material across multiple channels.

Support regional specific Sales and Technical training and enablement programs in coordination with local resources.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional or military experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
