Providence St. Joseph Health Electrophysiology Technologist - *per diem* in Seattle, Washington
Description Assists the physician in the invasive testing and/or treatment of patients in the Electrophysiology Lab. Responsible for providing specialized technical support and assistance to the physician in the precise diagnostic mapping of patient-specific lesions, related testing and treatment of adult and pediatric patients. This position troubleshoots equipment problems and works closely with Clinical Engineering staff to maximize the functionality of the equipment and minimize downtime. Required Qualifications: If qualifying as Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist must be a graduate of a two-year invasive cardiology program or IBHRE endorsed certificate or degree program (at least twelve month duration) or equivalent. Coursework/Training: If qualifying as a Radiologic Technologist must be a graduate of a Radiologic Technology program. Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification upon hire. Or Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire. National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire. Or National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire. 1 year - If qualifying as Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - recent Invasive Cardiology Laboratory experience or graduate of certificate or degree program in Electrophysiology. 2 years - If qualifying as a Radiologic Technologist must have cath lab/IR experience.
