University of Washington Medical Center-Northwest has an outstanding opportunity for a Electroneurodiagnostic Tehcnologist in the Neursciences Institute .

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION: Our neurologists and neurosurgeons diagnose and treat all types of brain, spine and nervous system disorders (500+), no matter how rare or challenging. We’ll carefully evaluate your symptoms and health history, in order to provide an accurate diagnosis. And you’ll have access to a broad range of subspecialists, such as neuro-ophthalmologists and neurorehabilitation experts. Get care for a full range of neurological issues including: brain aneurysms, brain tumors, epilepsy and seizures, headaches and migraines, memory and brain wellness, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, pituitary and skull base tumors, and stroke care.

WORK SCHEDULE:

  • Part-time, 80% FTE, 32 hrs/weekly

  • Opportunity to provide career growth. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Independently perform electroneurodiagnostic procedures in various settings

  • Collect and analyze data

  • Perform technical interpretation of data and relates findings to physicians and/or neurophysiologist

  • Train END technologists and other personnel as needed

  • Provide work direction to others

  • Perform scheduling and other clerical duties

  • Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality (CQI) improvements activities REQUIREMENTS:

  • Successful completion of an Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist training program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation
