To further Blue Origin's mission of having millions of people living and working in space, we are building the sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from earth to the Lunar Surface. As part of a diverse and hardworking team, you will contribute to the design of the Electrical Power System (EPS) for future space vehicles. EPS scope includes power generation, storage, regulation, control, and distribution to vehicle subsystems and payloads. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration, and your dedicated commitment and detailed attention will further the cause of safe and repeatable spaceflight. In this role, you will be responsible for the verification and validation campaign for the Electrical Power System. You will assess and support development of EPS functional and performance requirements, work directly with I&T (Integration & Test) engineers to establish subsystem test plans and procedures, work with component responsible engineers to generate hardware test campaigns, and manage the traceability between requirements and test cases to verify subsystem performance and ensure safe and reliable operations in space. You should expect that this foundational part of our vision will require excellent communication and teamwork. You will work directly with NASA and our National Team Partners as part of the Human Landing System (HLS) Sustaining Lunar Development (SLD) program. You will play a key role in developing the Lunar Transportation system that will return humans to the Moon and extend human presence permanently beyond the bounds of Earth. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Develop subsystem and component level verification and validation activity definitions including verification methods, expectations, and compliance criteria Create verification matrices assessing compliance to subsystem and component level requirements Work directly within integrated environments such as JAMA, DOORS, and DOORS Next Gen to manage requirements/verification traceability Supporting system and lower-level requirements management, including change control, audits, and coordination with other teams Track metrics against requirements, verification, and certification products Coordinate and collaborate as needed to ensure alignment
