The role is in our In-Space Systems business unit, which is focused on the development, manufacturing, and operation of satellite systems to address one of the most compelling challenges in spaceflight today: space mobility. As part of a hardworking team of engineers, you will be responsible for Electrical Power Analog Circuit Designs for our spaceflight system! You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of the development of our Avionics systems! To read about our intriguing Blue Ring program, please see a recent article from our Website: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Architecting analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits for space at the circuit card level Develop the schematics, select the EEE components, perform worst-case circuit analysis, perform parts stress analysis, analyze the power budget, and signal integrity. Guide circuit card development through its design phases, from requirements definition through integration testing Qualifications: A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related fields A minimum of 3+ years of analog and digital circuit design experience. Experienced with circuit design, analysis, testing, and simulation of mixed-signal circuit avionic designs. Experience with analog electronics design, including FETs/BJTs, op-amps, high/low/band pass filters, clock/data terminations, and comparator circuits. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with radiation effects High Voltage Design Experience A Master of Science or equivalent experience in EE. Experience in crafting, developing, testing, and operating Space Vehicle systems. Knowledge of radiation effects on electronics Proven experience designing high-reliability safety-critical, Class 2/3 board assemblies; familiarity with IPC standards, DO-254, and similar standards. Scripting, Programming, and Analysis: Experience with TCL, Python, MATLAB/Simulink, HSPICE, and HFSS. Experience developing products from early trade studies through final design, manufacturing, and testing.
