Actalent Electrical Designer in Seattle, Washington

Job Title: Electrical DesignerJob Description

This candidate will be responsible for designing retail, commercial, and educational projects. The role requires proficiency in Revit and an understanding of AutoCAD and Bluebeam, as these are the tools their clients will use. The candidate should have at least 2 years of experience within the construction industry.

Responsibilities

  • Design electrical systems for retail, commercial, and educational projects.

  • Utilize Revit for creating and modifying electrical designs.

  • Understand and incorporate AutoCAD and Bluebeam into project designs.

  • Collaborate with other design professionals in a multidisciplinary environment.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in Revit

  • Understanding of AutoCAD

  • Knowledge of Bluebeam

  • 2+ years of experience in Electrical Design within the MEP space

  • Experience in commercial and retail construction projects

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

  • Experience with electrical design in construction

  • Open to candidates with 1+ years of experience or those with 1-2 relevant internships

Work Environment

The position starts with 5 days in the office, with the potential for a telecommute/hybrid arrangement after the orientation period. The company is a multi-discipline design-build firm with a variety of project types, offering career growth opportunities and a long-term career path. The average tenure of senior staff is 17 years, and the company has a project backlog extending out for 3 years.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $55.00/hr.
