Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Learn and become proficient at fundamental operation of ignition devices: exciter high voltage power conversion, high voltage leads (corona containment), and fundamentals of spark plug operation. Become expert at processing/documenting non-conforming development issues. Support engine ignition product qualification efforts performed at Blue. This includes writing work orders, facilitating testing and providing associated documentation. Write/execute work orders as necessary. Support engine electrical ignition development. Contribute to integration of ignition components during the qualification phase. Resolve issues with material flow from subcontracted ignition vendors and drive test related issues to resolution. Engage and resolve manufacturing issues with contracted manufacturing partners. Minimum Qualifications: BS EE or related field (possibly Computer Engineering, Physics) 2+ years experience in analog electronics, especially power conversion circuits. Knowledge of fundamental digital electronics Expertise in popular Electronic CAD packages (schematic entry, simulation) Hands-on lab debug skills. Proficient at utilizing lab equipment and making measurements Excellent communication skills, written and verbal Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum Preferred Qualifications: MS EE Experience with Aerospace electronic development is a plus Exposure to designing safety or critically important aerospace flight hardware aligned with DO-254 Circuit board layout experience Compensation range for on site WA applicants is $109,980---$153,972 USD Inclusivity Statement Don't meet all desired requirements?
