This position is responsible for performing adult M-Mode, Two-Dimensional, Pulsed and Continuous Wave Doppler, Color Flow Imaging, Stress (Treadmill and Pharmacologic) Echocardiography, and assisting cardiologists with TEE exams. One must be proficient at writing up preliminary reports for placement in the electronic medical chart immediately following every echo exam. The position requires the performance and understanding of anatomy on adult patients. This position may also involve working at and travel between Swedish Health Services hospitals and clinics. Required Qualifications: Coursework/Training Satisfactory completion of a formal accredited Ultrasound training program Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 6 month Internship in cardiac scanning experience Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Bachelor of Science Degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound 2 years Experience of cardiac scanning experience with adult patients Why Join Providence Swedish?
