Washington State Department of Transportation Eagle Harbor Operations Manager in Seattle, Washington
The Washington State Ferry (WSF) a Division of the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking an Operations Manager for our Eagle Harbor Maintenance facility. This position ensures proper administration of all preventative and corrective maintenance records within the Maintenance Management System. Acts as the liaison between the Vessel Engineering & Maintenance department and the craft shop forepersons regarding Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) initiatives.
In this position, you will act on behalf of the Eagle Harbor General Manager in their absence and have all delegated authorities granted. You will provide input in developing short and long-term maintenance plans, budget requirements, forecasting labor requirements, and other statistical analyses as required to carry out the maintenance plans.
This position also acts as one of Management's representatives in Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiations. You are expected to provide input, information, and suggestions on methods and situations that could improve the effective implementation of WSDOT policies.
