Description:

Customer service • Providing status updates for retrieval of hot shipments • Detailing historical trends of activity at airlines and ground handlers • Follow Global and local SOP’s to ensure a smooth operational process • Use system driven workflows & reports to manage workload and identify & resolve potential issues • Ensure all documentation is supplied in a timely manner • Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency. Job Details: • Ensuring import airfreight is being recovered from the airport as efficiently as possible • Validating all cargo that was dispatched for recovery is delivered to the Expeditors CFS timely • Assisting with issues reported by drivers at airline terminals, could be customs, or piece count / shortage issues • Documenting discrepancies in the expeditors system • Confirm all shipments that have arrived ORD are being dispatched timely • Help relay details from one shift to next to ensure all parties involved are up to speed on special requirements • Charter calendar management • Charter flight setup - emails to airline, gha, cst, retrieval carrier if applicable • Manage 3rd party retrieval carriers • Manage billing for 3rd party retrieval carriers Daily: • Mange reports and communicate details to teams • Communicate plan for next day to Dispatch teams • Validate all ULDs are received in CFS as planned • Update internal systems with additional data elements
