As Director, Product Portfolio Management you will be a member of the Sonos product team and contribute directly to Sonos' product and growth strategy. You will work across Sonos -- hardware, software, operations, finance, go-to-market -- to establish and lead the Sonos product roadmap and capacity assessment process, the outcome of which establishes the center-of-gravity for all of our product development investments. You will help toinform the Sonos portfolio and product strategy as well as our investment prioritization framework. Having a good understanding of tooling and operational processes will be a key area of focus.You lead with the Sonos behaviors, and inspire those around you to do the same. This role is a hybrid position Some roles require an office while others may be done remotely. This position is considered hybrid, allowing for a combination of remote work and in-office collaboration. Qualified applicants must live within commuting distance of our Santa Barbara, Seattle, or Boston office locations. What You'll Do: Product Roadmap Process: Drive transformational change in the roadmap process and decision making framework across the Product teams (inclusive of Hardware, Software, Product Management, Customer Experience) as well as at the company-wide level. Responsible for working with the VP of Portfolio to collaborate with the Product, Engineering, Go-to-Market and Finance leadership to drive accountability, outcomes, alignment, visibility and impact with the Sonos product roadmap. Product Management, Program and Customer Experience: Partner with the Product Management and Customer Experience organization and peer leaders to help develop the strongest, most empowered, most effective product management team possible. Help establish team priorities, meeting structure and cadence, and represent the organization to peer teams. Additionally, serve as a liaison to the other functional leadership teams such as Go-to-Market and Operations, being able to represent product work and decisions as well as bring back feedback and needs to the product leadership forum. Rhythm of the Business: Partner with various cross functional teams to ensure alignment across teams on key corporate priorities, inclusive of: OKRs: Partner with product teams on corporate and functional OKRs, metrics, and communication throughout the organization. Communication: Drive communication strategies for various initiatives inclusive of roadmap, Board of Directors engagement, product share-outs, and organization-wide communications . Finance: Partner with Finance on aligning product goals with company financial objectives and needs. Corporate Long-range Planning: Serve as the Product support in partnership with the Strategic Finance team on the annual planning process. Ensure the right cadence relative to the roadmap process and initiatives are incorporated, and that the appropriate stakeholders are involved and brought along with the process. What You'll Need: Basic Qualifications 15+ years of related experience working in product management and leading a roadmap process, ideally in a hardware and software environment Experience with portfolio management tooling, Google Suite, and JIRA Experience with roadmap building and process management Effective verbal and written communication Must live within commuting distance of Santa Barbara, Seattle, or Boston office locations Preferred Qualifications: Strategic Product Thinking: As the leader of our company-wid
