Summary:

Meta is seeking an experienced global leader to join Business Product Marketing’s Global Verticals team leading the Gaming line of business. This leader will lead a team responsible for driving growth for the Global Gaming business at Meta by shaping the product roadmap, and defining the integrated Go-to-Market approach for Gaming marketers. This will include both Global and Regional activations. The successful candidate will have extensive deep Gaming industry experience and be a strategic thinker, rigorous analyst, skilled operator, and expert influencer with the demonstrated ability to drive consensus across product, marketing and sales teams. This individual will lead a highly skilled team of Product Marketers to synthesize industry insights and market feedback to shape product development, and collaborate with multiple cross-functional stakeholders to set shared priorities for go-to-market and product, and activate these in market. This leader must have significant experience in the Gaming industry, and should also be a skilled communicator, innovator and collaborative partner who thrives in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional environment. Strong executive presence is required to communicate both Gaming market opportunities, and our Product roadmap to C-level audiences in client meetings, and on occasion, on-stage at industry events.

Required Skills:

  1. Play a primary role in developing the holistic business strategy for the Gaming vertical

  2. Create multi-year, annual and semi-annual plans to drive revenue growth for the vertical

  3. Distill market feedback across regions and categories into market intelligence that informs product roadmap

  4. Partner with Product teams to help shape future development based on industry needs

  5. Lead and develop a team of highly skilled Product Marketing Managers developing go-to-market strategies, working cross-functionally with teams around the world in Sales, Marketing, Operations, Creative, Partnerships, Measurement & Analytics

  6. Build strategy for marketing products across the Mobile Gaming, Real-Money Gaming, PC, Console and emerging technologies like Cloud Gaming

  7. Increase demand for Facebook's solutions by occasionally presenting at high profile industry events and in C-suite client meetings

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 12+ years strategy, general management or product management experience

  2. 8+ years of experience in digital media

  3. Global industry knowledge of the Gaming vertical

  4. Management experience including experience influencing leadership, cross-functional teams, and people who aren't reporting directly to you

  5. Track record developing future leaders

  6. Experience in translating customer and consumer needs into product focus areas and requirements

  7. Experience communicating the benefits of various marketing strategies to business audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. MBA or Master's Degree

  2. P&L responsibility and/or Consulting experience in relevant industry

  3. Multinational experience

  4. Experience in mobile app user acquisition and marketing strategies within the Gaming industry
