Products and Technology
As the Director, Product Management, you will use your business judgment and product knowledge to ensure product excellence and growth of our API-lead microservices product portfolio. You will lead a team of architects and engineers to simplify the platform while driving customer onboarding, engagement, and go-to-market activities. Specifically, you will lead our Anypoint API Runtimes from ideation and technical development to launching and iterating features across diverse sets of customer environments.
Anypoint API Runtime consists of our API Gateway and Anypoint Service Mesh services and works across multi-cloud and hybrid environments to dramatically simplify how companies discover, manage, and secure microservices. Anypoint API Runtime brings security and reliability to any microservices-based application, regardless of language or deployment model, freeing developers from custom code. It’s built on foundational open source technologies like Envoy and Istio that have become the basis for new modern microservices architectures.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
Passion for working with APIs and developers.
7 years of product management experience with 2 years of defining, launching, and growing API, developer, IoT or similar platforms.
Understanding of API platforms incl. API networking/security/policy enforcement.
High-level understanding of the microservice architectures based on Istio/Envoy and Kubernetes.
Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills across Engineering, Field Sales, and Business Development.
Ability to thrive in complex and dynamic organizational environments.
