YOUR POSITION WITH TNC The Director of Development (DoD) for Global IPLC will work towards meeting the strategic priorities of TNC's community-led conservation strategies including the work in the Emerald Edge and Local communities work in North America and around the world by conceiving, developing and managing a development program to secure significant financial resources for IPLC priorities. A major focus will be to cultivate, grow, and manage a donor base through discovery work in new donor audiences and work within an excellent fundraising team with a long-term goal of sustainable private financing for global IPLC conservation. The location for this position is negotiable within the U.S. and direct experience with and access to IPLCs is highly desired. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The DoD for Global IPLC is externally and internally focused on long-rage fundraising priorities for IPLC conservation strategies. They cultivate, grow, and manage a donor base through discovery work in new donor audiences and work within a highly-matrixed fundraising team.
