Qualifications
Education/Work Experience Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field, graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a minimum of five years of recent work experience in emergency or critical care nursing that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities, including two years in a supervisory or management capacity.Equivalent additional qualifying work experience may be substituted for two years of the degree requirement.Master’s degree in nursing, business or healthcare is preferred.
Licensure/Certification:- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Washington State Board of Nursing.- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - (1 month grace period allowed for ACLS if expired)- TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Care) certification, PALS (Pediatric Advanced life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course) certification is preferred.
