Overview
In this role, you will help customers feel good and look their best by adhering to our digital advertising principles: customer-led strategies, emotionally engaging content, performance-driven marketing, and collaborative partnerships. Responsibilities

Expand Our Customer Understanding & Reach: Help enrich the data for the Paid Social channel to create a deep understanding of our customers. You will focus on identifying and engaging our customers at scale digitally. Core to this approach will be growing our digitally marketing customers. Your focus will be on executing on a monthly plan developed by your manager.
Monitor performance across various audience segments within and across Paid Social platforms. Provide initial analysis of audience and customer performance and recommendations for optimization to improve customer experience and campaign performance.
Create Meaningful Connections: Help develop personalized storytelling capabilities within the Paid Social channel based on channel and platform capabilities. You will focus on significantly advancing past on-par approach to create more relevant creating offerings that emotionally connect with our customers. Your focus will be on executing on a monthly plan developed by your manager.
Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging ad creatives, including images, videos, and copy, tailored to different audiences and platforms.
Conduct A/B testing on ad creatives, targeting, and bidding strategies to drive continuous improvement.
Optimize a Customer-Led, Full-Funnel Marketing Mix: Help drive customer-focused digital advertising within Paid Social. These strategies will engage customer segments with tailored approaches within Paid Social based on our customer’s engagement with Nordstrom and platform capabilities. Your focus will be on executing on a monthly plan developed by your manager.
Contribute to data analysis to identify opportunities for optimization and make recommendations to improve campaign outcomes.
Partner with internal teams (Brand, Creative, Lifecycle, etc.) to educate on Paid Social best practices and platform capabilities.
Develop an Operational Excellence Based Culture: Help create efficient, effective, and scalable systems (i.e., processes, tools, meetings, etc.). These systems will be rooted in technological advancements including a full adoption of automation and artificial intelligence. Your focus will be on executing on a monthly plan developed by your manager.
Update documentation (reporting, media plans, project trackers) in partnership with the Paid Social and broader Marketing teams to ensure accurate data and status updates.
Work directly with Analytics and Marketing Enablement teams to action on plans to streamline and automate workflows.
Deliver Results: Help deliver on weekly customer trip and sales targets within the Paid Social channel. This includes driving intra-week reporting and optimization to drive performance. Your focus will be on executing on a monthly plan developed by your manager.
Own Paid Social campaign setup, tracking, and troubleshooting to ensure accurate reporting and attribution.
Work independently to monitor campaign performance metrics (e.g., CPM, CTR, CPC, ROAS) and provide regular performance reports.
Implement bid and budget optimizations to ensure campaigns spend according to budget plans and maximize performance outcomes based on the goals associated with the campaign.

Technical Know-How: Strong analytical skills and understanding of performance metrics (e.g., CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS). Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Understanding of the tools involved with audience management, channel execution, and reporting.
Paid Social Skills: 2-4 years of experience in paid social media advertising or related fields. Deep knowledge of paid social media platforms, including Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, Pinterest Ads, or similar tools.
To develop this proven track record, you will likely need 2+ years of digital advertising experience.

Pay Range Details
The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
Washington: $69,000-$110,500 annually
This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
