Responsibilities

Your responsibilities are rooted in bringing your purpose to life.

  • Expand Our Customer Understanding & Reach: Help enrich the data for the Paid Social channel to create a deep understanding of our customers. You will focus on identifying and engaging our customers at scale digitally. Core to this approach will be growing our digitally marketable customers. Your focus will be on executing on a 3-month plan (quarter year) developed by your manager.

  • Partner with Lifecycle team to understand our customer segments – the social platforms they spend their time in, the content they are interested in, and the brands, products, and trends they are most engaged with.

  • Analyze Paid Social campaign performance across customer segments, identifying opportunities to optimize performance and customer experience based.

  • Create Meaningful Connections: Help develop personalized storytelling capabilities within the Paid Social channel based on platform capabilities. You will focus on significantly advancing past on-par approach to create more relevant creating offerings that emotionally connect with our customers. Your focus will be on executing on a 3-month plan (quarter year) developed by your manager.

  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging ad creatives, including images, videos, and copy, tailored to different audiences and platforms.

  • Conduct A/B testing on ad creatives, targeting, and bidding strategies to drive continuous improvement.

  • Optimize a Customer-Led, Full-Funnel Marketing Mix: Help drive customer-focused digital advertising within the Paid Social channel. These strategies will engage customer segments with tailored, triggered approaches within Paid Social based on our customer’s engagement with Nordstrom and platform capabilities. Your focus will be on executing on a 3-month plan (quarter year) developed by your manager.

  • Assist in strategic planning of paid social media campaigns across platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.), collaborating with internal teams to align campaigns with broader marketing goals.

  • Work independently to execute campaign setup, tracking, and troubleshooting to ensure accurate reporting and attribution.

  • Develop an Operational Excellence Based Culture: Help create efficient, effective, and scalable systems (i.e., processes, tools, meetings, etc.). These systems will be rooted in technological advancements including a full adoption of automation and artificial intelligence. Your focus will be on executing on a 3-month plan (quarter year) developed by your manager.

  • Own documentation (reporting, media plans, project trackers) in partnership with the Paid Social and broader Marketing teams to ensure accurate data and status updates.

  • Work directly with Analytics and Marketing Enablement teams to develop and action on plans to streamline and automate workflows.

  • Mentor junior teammates and cross-functional partners.

  • Deliver Results: Help deliver on weekly customer trip and sales targets within Paid Social. This includes driving intra-week reporting and optimization to drive performance. Your focus will be on executing on a 3-month plan (quarter year) developed by your manager.

  • Monitor campaign performance metrics (e.g., CPM, CTR, CPC, ROAS) and provide regular performance reports and insights.

  • Analyze data and implement optimizations to improve campaign outcomes.

  • Manage campaign budgets and ensure campaigns stay within allocated spending limits.

  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision making.

  • Lead larger projects and initiatives within the Paid Social channel to drive a deeper understanding of our customers and channel performance.

  • Technical Know-How: Strong analytical skills and understanding of performance metrics (e.g., CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS). Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Knowledgeable about marketing technology and how tools and platforms connect to deliver and collect data for targeting, media optimization, and reporting.

  • Paid Social Skills: 4+ years of experience in paid social media advertising or related fields. Familiarity with paid social media platforms, including Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, Pinterest Ads, or similar tools. Understanding of full funnel Paid Social strategy and ability to connect tactics across the funnel back to performance outcomes.

To develop this proven track record, you will likely need 3+ years of digital advertising experience.

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Washington: $80,000 - $132,000 annually

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
