To learn more about Amazon Scout, check out our Amazon Day One Blog post here: http://amazon.com/scoutKey job responsibilities* Work with an interdisciplinary team to execute on interconnects from concept to production including design, validation, testing and certification.* Own the backplane design and system interconnect strategy.* Develop C/C++ code for board bring up for critical components in the system to verify interfaces early in the design cycle.* Develop code for proof of concept work to enable quick learnings on new feature requests.* BS Electrical Engineering (or similar field)* 3 years of experience working with high speed digital design (Ethernet, GMSL, MIPI-C, etc...)* 3 years of experience with schematic entry, layout tools and DFX (preferred Cadence toolset)* 3 years of experience with common laboratory equipment (oscilloscopes, JTAG programmers, logic analyzers, bench supplies, etc...)* 3 years of experience with board bring up (either hardware or software)* 1 year of experience with RTOS (Linux, QNX)* MS Electrical Engineering (or similar field)* 1 year of experience writing low level code for multi-core processors, e.g. Nvidia Jetson series, TI Jacinto* 1 year of experience building with quick prototype platforms (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc...)* 1 year of experience troubleshooting EMI issues related to cables and connectors.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
