As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will be responsible for assisting engineers and integration engineers with the hydraulic and pneumatic component test setup, assembling, testing, and implementation of development articles being integrated to production. This position requires a basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, some electronics, and soldering. Using hydraulic fluids, Helium, Nitrogen, other aircraft fluids, and familiarity of AS9100. This position will also require your dedicated commitment and attention to detail of lab processes, test articles, and maintaining a clean, safe and organized environment. Responsibilities: Assisting with hydraulic and pneumatic testing Rebuild of valves, regulators and components Assist with component level testing Hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic troubleshooting experience is a plus Stainless steel tube bending, flaring, and swaging Reading and interpret hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic schematics Read and interpret mechanical drawings Working with pressures up to 10,000 psi Understand various types of fittings Wire Harness build, crimping, and soldering Wire harness fabrication Use of shop tools, equipment, and machinery Acceptance Test Procedures, Factory Acceptance Testing, Customer Acceptance Testing Experience using and troubleshooting various sensors, pressure transducers, LVDT's, thermocouples, RTD's, power supplies, flowmeters, pressure gauges, servos, servo drivers, electrical circuits, ESD, data analysis, etc. Qualifications: 2+ years' experience in related field Development Lab or Production Lab experience Strong written and computer skills Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Desired: Basic use of CAD LabVIEW or PLC experience Understanding of clean room environments Understanding of precision cleaning Understanding of oxygen level cleaning Familiarity with typical aerospace testing and quality processes (AS9100, FOD Control, Lean, 5's, etc.) Compensation Range for: WA applicants is $29.03-$40.65 Other site ranges may differ Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the requisition is closed.
