As a Data Quality Analyst, you will be accountable for validating the quality of the data and metrics on the data platform. This role reports to the Data Governance team responsible for end-to-end data management of descriptive metadata, data quality, and data access controls across our enterprise data portfolio. Our partners include a broad range of disciplines and range from the CEO to individual contributors across the organization. This person will propel the reliable operation of the company using metrics and data. Responsibilities: You will engage key partners and domain experts to identify and document the current state of end-to-end business processes and their systems' data. Based on your analysis you will work with key business leaders and propose data quality rules that can be implemented and evaluated to provide a data quality index. The team and our customers will rely on you for the cleanliness, accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of our data. You will become a domain expert in the manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, test and flight operations, and corporate services data our customers rely on to make decisions. Be the custodian of the data within your purview and use tools available to supervise and manage the data quality and accuracy of that data Defining and implementing data quality rules Aid in developing data governance and data stewardship playbooks Collaborate with architecture and analytics teams to establish, analyze, and provide metrics to leadership to prioritize the needs and requests of customers Promote the use and reference of the data catalog by data consumers and producers alike including fellow Governed Data Stewards, business analysts, and engineers Recommend new data quality processes for transactional data and push for data quality operations to move upstream Maintain flexibility in an ever-evolving landscape to perform additional duties as needed Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Direct experience working on data quality, data warehousing, or other enterprise data and analytic management initiatives. Experience leading change management and knowledge-sharing activities Experience developing training and communication materials Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Experience presenting information to executive partners Ability to earn trust and maintain positive professional relationships Self-starter, strong bias for action in high ambiguity environment Basic understanding and ability to interrogate databases using SQL Knowledge defining and implementing data quality rules as defined by data owners Experience calculating a Data Quality Index for critical datasets Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills with a proven track record for gathering and documenting comprehensive business requirements.
