This role is part of Enterprise Technology (ET), where we're developing the digital infrastructure needed to build the road to space, with an emphasis on digital capabilities required to advance Blue Origin's mission. Enterprise Technology is the center of excellence for digital technology at Blue Origin, providing oversight and governance to align technology and business strategies. We are seeking a top-tier Product Owner with experience taking data products to market to join our organization. The Data Product Owner will play a meaningful role in crafting the future of data and analytics at our organization and will be the voice of data across the company. This person will be responsible for educating, inspiring, and empowering individuals across the organization to embrace data and analytics as a core part of their work. This role will also lead the value engineering capability and help develop methodologies to compute the value of data, assets, and capabilities in data management. Working with partners in finance, technology strategy, data management, and the business, helps us develop value calculations for our data products. Responsibilities Act as a data thought leader, inspiring and educating individuals company-wide on how our data products can be introduced into their daily workflows to drive value and efficiency Develop and deliver presentations, workshops, and other materials to drive data literacy and build data-driven cultures Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data initiatives, and develop roadmaps to bring these initiatives to life Apply value engineering principles to establish return on investment and business value of data products Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and business partners to craft and implement data-driven projects that deliver business impact Communicate insights and recommendations to senior leadership and partners, demonstrating the value and impact of data and analytics Qualifications Bachelor's, Master's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as computer science, statistics, or mathematics Deep proven experience in data and analytics, with a consistent record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions Strong understanding of data warehousing, data management, and analytics standard methodologies Detailed knowledge of data consumption tools for Business Intelligence, Data Science, and AI Excellent communication and presentation skills that articulate sophisticated data concepts to a non-technical audience Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to develop data-driven solutions Ability to navigate sophisticated organizational dynamics and inspire change Self-starter with a passion for data and a desire to drive innovation and change Compensation range for on site WA applicants is $132,210---$185,094 USD
