Job Description:

The Enterprise Credit Analytics & Transformation Strategy (ECATS) team is part of the Enterprise Credit organization. The primary focus of the ECATS team is to produce and communicate high-quality, fit-for-use, and concise data and information related to Global Banking and Enterprise Credit. This team is responsible for defining and enhancing Enterprise Credit data processes, including platforms, reporting, governance, data management and data remediation.

The Data Manager will be part of the ECATS Data Governance team which is responsible for the adoption of and adherence to internal data management policies and standards (i.e.: the Enterprise Data Management and Global Records Management), active engagement/support of internal/external regulatory and audit issues. The team performs an enterprise function covering all of Global Banking and has responsibilities related to the governance of credit data; communicating and coordinating the impacts of enterprise data priorities; and monitoring the health of Global Banking data. This position requires close working relationships with teams internal to ECATS, Front Line Business Units, Technology support partners, other business Data Management teams, Global Banking Operations / Credit Process teams, Enterprise Data Strategy and Governance, Global Compliance Operational Risk, etc.

Key responsibilities include driving the adherence of the Enterprise Data Management policies and standards across Global Banking and ensuring sustainability with Front Line Units; support enterprise data controls testing efforts related to Data Management Standards; active engagement of enterprise data initiatives and providing SPI support within ECATS.

Required Skills:

  • Highly motivated, proactive and a self-starter; strong sense of ownership & ability to create and execute plans without daily oversight

  • Ability to work across multiple teams and manage multiple priorities

  • Knowledge of the Process Management Policy and POP system

  • Hands-on, applied experience with Enterprise Data Management Policy/Standards

  • Highly organized; able to effectively prioritize and balance multiple efforts; detail oriented

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to simplify and summarize complex topics

  • Ability to work in fast-paced, work-intensive organization and be able to adapt to changing priorities

  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Project management/process design skills

         

Desired Skills:

  • Strong relationship management skills

  • Ability to decompose complex issues and drive timely decisions, knowing when to engage others for additional input, and when to act independently

  • Experience in a front line unit
