You will design, develop and roll out innovative data products and be a key contributor in building our healthcare data integration platform in the cloud to optimize and accelerate product development supporting personalized customer experience, cost of care optimization, and improving oral health outcomes. Responsibilities *Discover, create and manage new datasets by extracting, transforming, combining and loading data from various heterogeneous data sources and build incremental data products while ensuring data integrity, availability and auditability *Design, implement and maintain innovative cloud-based data solutions for large and varied datasets on platforms hosted on AWS (native and 3rd party like Snowflake data warehouse), using native services, cloud-capable ETL and other data management tools. *Maintain a hybrid environment that include legacy data technologies/platforms while migrating data, pipelines and products to cloud-based solutions. *Comprehensively handle agile development lifecycle by designing, coding, testing and implementing iterative solutions. *Be part of data operations. Engage in day-to-day processes when required. Do job monitoring, respond to tickets, do root cause analysis, take quick corrective actions that include code fixes, coordination with other teams or individuals etc. *Identify gaps and improvement opportunities in data operations and implement solutions using automation QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. *4+ years of experience in data engineering and data technologies *Experienced in Data warehousing, building ETL pipelines, and overall data management *Demonstrable experience using SQL and knowledge of NOSQL. *Coding proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g. – Python, Scala, Java etc.) and querying languages (HiveQL, Spark SQL etc.) are pluses. *Experienced with Cloud platforms and services e.g.-building data lake in AWS, building Cloud based data warehousing solutions like Snowflake, cloud data pipelines using tools like Matillion, Talend, Glue etc. Experience in streaming data is a plus.
