Starbucks Coffee Company Cybersecurity- Engineer Sr. in Seattle, Washington
Cybersecurity- Engineer Sr.:
- Design, develop, deploy, monitor, and maintain scalable, resilient cybersecurity services.
- Design and deploy solutions with automation wherever practical.
- Facilitate remediation of threats by working with other cybersecurity and IT teams.
- Ensure documentation for managed platforms/services are detailed, thorough, and up to date.
- Acts as a mentor and escalation point for more junior members of the team.
- Participate as a key member in security incident response activities.
- Understand deploying resilient and secure systems that adhere to least privilege, role-based access, and assess and protect against threats across endpoints, cloud infrastructure, on prem servers, Network appliances and capabilities that operate within multiple environments. Understand mitigating controls and factors to address these threats.
Telecommuting permitted up to 40% per week.
Full time employment, Monday -- Friday, 40 hours per week. Pay Range: $185,640 - $209,600 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive, post-bachelor's related work experience.
- Must have 5 years of experience in programming with at least one of these languages: Java, Python, Ruby, C++, golang, or C#.
- Must have 5 years of experience in using scripting languages.
- Must have 4 years of experience in a security engineer or related role.
- Must have 4 years of experience in deploying and developing cybersecurity infrastructure, tooling for cloud and on prem deployments, and hardening capabilities that require infrastructure updates.
- Must have 3 years of experience interacting with API's.
- Must have 3 years of experience in deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting cybersecurity tools in enterprise environments.
- Must have an understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements, such as SOX and PCI.
