Amazon Customer Solution Engineer, Buy with Prime in Seattle, Washington

Description

The Buy with Prime (BwP) team is seeking a Solution Engineer. Solution Engineer is a high impact, high visibility technical role leading the integration of Buy with Prime product with complex eCommerce websites. Solution Engineer will have a solution mindset and acts as a deep Buy with Prime product expert. They work directly with the customer to troubleshoot issues that is preventing the customer from BwP launch and accelerate resolution by providing a creative solution. Solution Engineer will also build demos, Proof of Concepts & tools that will help adoption and acceleration of Buy with Prime product.

The successful candidate will have a track record of 1) managing customer product launches and technical integration; 2) building the relationships by partnering across multiple teams such as sales, account management, product, engineering, and solution architects to successfully launch the customer on Buy with Prime product and features; 3) owning internal as well as Customer facing operating procedures, with a continuous lens on process improvement; 4) demonstrating strong customer obsession through driving process improvement and advocating for the customer as part of internal reviews.

Key job responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and provide solutions to the customers adopting Buy with Prime product features.

  • Integrate Buy with Prime product with complex eCommerce websites and launch Buy with Prime product and features.

  • Optimize the Buy with Prime product on customer eCommerce websites by providing consultative guidance.

  • Build demos, Proof of Concepts & tools that will help adoption and acceleration of Buy with Prime product.

Buy with Prime is a new way to extend Prime shopping benefits—including fast, free shipping, a seamless checkout experience, and free returns—to merchants’ own online stores, ultimately increasing selection for Prime members.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

  • 3+ Years of work experience in external customer facing roles.

  • 2+ Years of work experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of API-led and event-driven integrations

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to influence others in a collaborative fashion

  • Strong decision-making skills

  • Ability to prioritize in a complex, fast-paced environment

  • Ability to gather, interpret and apply a wide range of data

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills are critical to success in this position.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $204,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
